You will arrive in one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe, Budapest. To start off your long weekend, there is no better way then to head to one of the thermal baths that Budapest is famous for. Soak in the warm waters, even enjoy a massage before hitting the town for your first evening.
Day 1
Szechenyi Thermal Baths
The most famous and largest thermal bath complex in the city is the Szechenyi Thermal Baths. Be sure to bring a bathing suit, sandals/flip flops, and a towel and enjoy the experience! This is a perfect way to spend a few hours regardless of the time of day or outdoor temperature!

This Michelin 1 Star restaurant offers delicious selections for prices that fit into a budget and is a perfect place to enjoy your first dinner in Budapest.
Szimpla Kert
After dinner head to the most popular ruins bar. This indoor/outdoor area includes 9 bars and serves as a cultural and social hub of the city, even offering live concerts a few nights a week.
Day 2
After a restful night’s sleep at your accomodation, enjoy a flavorful breakfast and head to the Buda side of the Danube and climb up Castle Hill.
Buda Castle
Enjoy wandering around Buda Castle, admire the history, the buildings and the beautiful views.
Fisherman’s Bastion
Enjoy the feeling of being in a fairy tale overlooking the beautiful Danube and all of Pest. Be sure to snap some great photos as this is much more than an instagram worthy view.
Matthias Church
The beautiful Church complex sits just behind the Fisherman’s Bastion and is worth at the very least a walk around to admire the architecture and its sheer beauty.
Stroll down and across the Chain Bridge which sits just below Castle Hill.
Head to Budapest’s Market Hall to wander around, grab a souvenir or two and enjoy some well priced food to tide you over until another delicious dinner.
Shoes on the Danube Bank
Walk along the Danube until you reach this chilling and powerful waterside monument memorializing those killed during the Holocaust and World War II.
St. Stephen’s Basilica
After a short rest at your accommodation, get fancied up for an evening to remember.

Day 3
After a night on the river and a full night’s sleep, enjoy a bite to eat and set out on your way just beyond the edge of the city.
Visegrad

Szentendre
A community for artists features galleries, cobblestone alleys, and adorable shops
Shopping
Once you have made your way back into the city, enjoy some shopping at Central Passage Shopping area, the Arena mall, or a variety of other shopping areas, before enjoying your final dinner and evening in Budapest.
Dinner at Ket Szerecsen
Enjoy a delicious Hungarian feast with a bistro twist. Everything here is simply delicious.
Day 4
Margaret Island
Make your way to the island that sits in the middle of the Danube between Buda and Pest. A now beautiful park with ancient ruins makes a beautiful place to roam around, enjoy the outdoors and gather some fabulous views and photos of the surroundings.
Lunch at Kiskakukk Restaurant
After a morning spent wandering around, make your way to enjoy your last meal before departing Budapest.
